Is Valentine's Day a greeting card holiday?  Yeahhhhh, it really is.

But the truth is that it's also a fabulous opportunity to stop for a moment and show someone important to you (or yourself) a little love.

Even though the holiday may feel a little schmaltzy, it's really important to recognise the relationships that bring so much meaning and richness to our lives. 

So whether it's a romantic Valentine's Day gesture or a Galentine's Day gift for a dear friend (or yourself!), we're celebrating those important relationships with some special one-of-a-kind Small Batches dyed in deep, rich colourways. Yarn details

Oriana is a deceptive yarn!  Its eight plies give like wool while you work your stitches (because it's 90% wool!), wear like iron (perfect for socks), but drapes just like cotton (for amazing shawls and swingy sweaters)

• Fiber Content: 90% Superwash Merino, 10% Nylon; 8-ply
• Weight: Fingering;  Each skein is approximately 3.5oz/100g, and the yarn contains approximately 420 yards per 100g

Lyra (leer-a or lie-ra) is beautifully spoingy yarn that's a joy to use.  Named for a small constellation, Lyra's cabled 8-ply construction gives it a loftiness that feels fantastic, and the strength to used for anything from socks to sweaters.

• Weight: Sport; Each skein is approximately 3.5oz/100g, and the yarn contains approximately 270 yards per 100g

Vega is a worsted version of our incredibly popular cabled 8-ply Lyra. The result of this special plying technique is a yarn that is plump and round, with great stitch definition, extra durability and — best of all — super sproingy!is beautifully spoingy yarn that's a joy to use.

Capella is a yarn you just keep reaching for... to squish... and squish... and squish. Its single-ply construction and soft-as-clouds merino create a poofiness that's just so touchable.

Astrid is a lofty and light yarn that feels wonderful against your skin.
