And she’s right – that’s exactly what it is. Lyra’s cabled construction mean its eight plies are always pushing against one another, making it incredibly plump, round, and… well, bouncy. It gives it fabulous stitch definition – just watch those cables pop! – and incredible smooshiness.

How does this yarn take colour? Lyra is 100% Superwash Merino, so it takes colour beautifully, and the results will be very similar to the pictures on the left.
